Scope
The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2002 Impose a new duty to 'Manage the risk' posed by disturbing asbestos containing materials through maintenance activities. This is a new requirement (regulation 4) coming into force on 21st May 2004. In order to manage the risk you need to be able to show interested parties where the asbestos is and assess the risk (depending on type & condition).

Methodology
We carry out surveys & assessments in accordance with 'MDHS 100 - Surveying, Sampling and assessment of asbestos containing materials'; published by the Health & Safety Executive. Where sampling & testing is carried out, our test laboratories are registered to UKAS.
